Governor Joet Garcia, together with Vice Governor Cris Garcia and provincial board members welcomed on Friday San Juan City officials for the signing of a Sisterhood Agreement between the Provincial Government of Bataan and San Juan City.
San Juan City was represented by Mayor Francis Zamora, Vice Mayor Jose Angelo Rafael E. Agcaoili, Congresswoman Ysabel Maria J. Zamora, and city councilors.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by provincial department heads and personnel from both local government units (LGUs).
The partnership aims to strengthen ties and promote growth between the two government units. Gov. Garcia said that the partnership will allow both LGUs to learn from each other and work together toward progress. He and Vice Gov. Garcia also expressed their gratitude to Mayor Zamora and the officials of San Juan City for making the collaboration possible.
Mayor Zamora, for his part, stated that the sisterhood agreement is a step toward building bridges between the LGUs, leading to more shared resources and solutions for common challenges.
San Juan City also signed sisterhood agreements with Balanga City and the Municipality of Limay. Balanga City was represented by Mayor Francis Garcia, Vice Mayor Vianca Venzon-Gozon, and city council members, while Limay was represented by Mayor Richie David and Sangguniang Bayan members.
